Welcome to Lauria's 'Old Museum' Antiques

Early in 2019, Sal & Tina set out on a treasure hunt to find the perfect building to open an antique store in. They travelled all over north central Idaho and happened upon 315 College Ave. in Orofino. The house had been used for the last several decades as the site of the Clearwater Historical Museum. When they walked in for the first time that day, they knew that they had found the right place to begin their adventure.

Once the location was found, the real fun and hard work began. Tina started unpacking boxes that revealed Depression glass, carnival glass, Occupied Japan figurines and antique toys. Every day is was something new, fantastic vintage & southwest Indian jewelry, collectable pottery & china, Antique cookbooks and rare books for all readers. While unpacking she unearthed salt & pepper shakers, old kitchen items, vinyl records, tin toys, Barware, liquor bottles and decanters. After unpacking many boxes, there are still new treasures being unboxed daily. Tina will tell you her goal is 2 boxes emptied daily.

With the store was up and running a great opportunity presented itself and Laurias was able to purchase new old gift store stock. Now they are able to offer Idaho souvenirs like shot glasses, magnets, pins, postcards, sticker and even Lewis and Clark memorabilia. After all, Orofino is on the Lewis Clark scenic byway! They also have greeting cards, wind chimes, night lights, fishing & cabin décor, candles and so much more.
