About Lauria's 'Old Museum' Antiques

I was built in 1927 as the home and photography studio of Paul Seiffert. I enjoyed the many different individuals and families I was able to host for their portraits and loved serving as the backdrop to all kinds of historic life events captured in photographs. Those were memorable days.

When my time as a photography studio and home ended, I was delighted when a new assignment came my way. This time I was to host the Clearwater Historical Society museum. The year was 1976 and you should have seen the amazing items the Society brought into my care. Photos, antique Indian artifacts, old mining relics, homesteading & logging history and amazing stories. After many decades, there was so much history my walls could no longer contain it and the Museum move on to a new, bigger location.

Once again I was available and ready to serve as the backdrop for some new adventure. In 2019, the Lauria's saw my beautiful period fixtures, high ceilings and stately presence and fell in love. They have opened an antique store so I'm once again hosting history and inviting people in, my favorite. The antique store is growing and changing and I love that I am still being of service to my community after all these many decades.

My doors are open and my walls are full, come and see what history & treasures await you at Lauria's 'Old Museum' Antiques.
